You are sure to recognize the parents of this gorgeous baby boy as they are repeat clients. I photographed this sweet baby boy at 6 days old. He is just so precious! I love that Bob & Kelly are so trusting of me as it really allows me to get some great artistic shots. Here are a couple of my favorite from their session. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of photographing Chris & Laura’s wedding on March 13th at Leu Gardens. It was a beautiful day made complete with flowers from Atmospheres Floral. Without further ado, here are just a few of my favorites from the day!

At the end of February, I had the pleasure of being the photographer for a Floor’s Direct Cutie Contest. The contest was open to kids age 4 & under. I must say that I was really impressed by these cuties! There were 33 kids in all & I think we only had 2 meltdowns (which is awesome!) The kids were all so stinkin’ cute & there is no way that I can possibly include all of them in this post. Without further ado, here are some of my favorite photos from the day!
The one above is probably my favorite “look” of the day. She looks sneaky & cute!
The little girl above did not want to take her hands away from her mouth, but I adore this image! She is so precious!
Look at those rosey cheeks!
I love babies!
Who doesn’t love baby drool?

I had the pleasure to photograph Bob & Kelly last weekend & had a lot of fun. They are going to be awesome parents & I can’t wait to meet their little one when he arrives! Kelly was a blast to photograph & was up for anything. I was able to do some fun artsy stuff that was still classy. Thanks Bob & Kelly!
Aren’t pregnant bellies beautiful?

I think she looks like a glowing goddess in this one:

I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah & Patrick today for their “We Will” engagement shoot. Since they are getting married at Leu Gardens in May, we wanted to take advantage of the beautiful gardens. Leu Gardens is the perfect place for a photo shoot. Without further ado, here are a few of my favorites from the day:
There are multiple bamboo clusters throughout the garden, but this one was my favorite. Aren’t Sarah & Patrick the cutest?!?
Unfortunately Leu Gardens was hit hard by the recent freezes here in Florida, so there were not as many blooming flowers as normal. However, we walked by this tree which had yellow blooms & had to take advantage of it. This photo definitely has more of a fall vibe, but I still love it!
How gorgeous is her ring?!? I love the vintage look of it. Very pretty.
Again, how cute are they?!?
Leu Gardens has so many great photo spots! I am a big fan of the long roads/paths.
This one was taken on “Camphor Road.” I have some big plans for this spot for their wedding day. : )

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph this sweet 6 day old baby & had a blast! It was actually my first newborn session, but I hope it is the first of many, many more. Here are some of my favorites:

Choosing a logo was a big decision for me, which is why it has taken over a year to decide on it. I couldn’t decide between utilizing peacock feathers or a dragonfly. However, once I did research on the meaning of each, it was definitely the dragonfly!
Here is the meaning behind the dragonfly from www.dragonfly-site.com.
The main symbolisms of the dragonfly are renewal, positive force and the power of life in general. Dragonflies can also be a symbol of the sense of self that comes with maturity. Also, as a creature of the wind, the dragonfly frequently represents change. And as a dragonfly lives a short life, it knows it must live its life to the fullest with the short time it has – which is a lesson for all of us. The dragonfly has been a symbol of happiness, new beginnings and change for many centuries and even though the representation of the dragonfly seems to change throughout the cultures, there are still a few things that are similar; the dragonfly means hope, change and love.
How perfect is it to incorporate something that symbolizes positive force, the power of life, happiness, & new beginnings! I would also like to mention that my late Grammy loved dragonflies & sometimes I imagine her flying around now as one. (I know, it sounds silly!)
Without further ado, let me introduce my new logo, which is exactly what I wanted. The creator did a perfect job!
It’s clean, elegant, & has the perfect colors!
Also, I would like to mention here that my Facebook fan page has been deleted, again. For now I will just be using the NetworkedBlogs function to update Facebook. I just can’t bear to create a fan page for the third time!

Sara & Kyle’s wedding was in November 2008. You have probably seen their wedding & engagement photos around on my site. Two of my favorite wedding shots are from their wedding:

We did their engagement session in July 2007 (man that seems like a long time ago!). Let me tell you, these two are troopers! I think we picked the hottest day in July to do their shoot. Our last location was at UCF, and getting in that cool reflecting pool was such a treat:

Okay, so on with the reason of this post. Sara & Kyle celebrated their one year anniversary with a Day After/Trash the Dress shoot. This couple is pretty much up for anything & is such a joy to photograph. I had a new location where I wanted to photograph & of course Sara & Kyle were up for the challenge. You will see the new location below which is the one with the columns. I love how they came out & will definitely be returning! We had attempted to go to Sugar Mill Gardens to start off our day. However, once we arrived there, we found out there was actually a wedding going on! Sara had to change into her dress before we began shooting, so she had to change there. While Sara was sitting on a bench, a garden worker came up to her & was so happy that they found the bride! Sara replied that she was not the bride & then we got dirty looks & a couple of unkind words. Sheesh, we were leaving!
Enough with my commentary, here are some of my favorites from the day.

In case you can’t tell from the above pictures, I absolutely love the back of Sara’s dress. It is stunning!

I would like to add that the sky in the above photo is 100% in camera with no Photoshopping. Florida sunsets are just amazing!

I had the pleasure of photographing a former ballerina who is still fantastic. This was my first time working with a dancer & it really was a blast. Once again, I had a lot of images & had a difficult time narrowing down my favorites, but here they are!
