First off, let me apologize for the fact that I am like, well, over a year late in posting this. I had a few posts (you will see them all shortly) that had apparently been saved in the drafts section. Oops!
Anyway, Julie & Lacey had a Day After session, but Julie decided she had plenty of photos in her wedding dress and wanted photos in regular clothes. I guess it was like an engagement session in reverse order.
Oh, and guys, I will always remember your session for one reason in particular…I was about 6 weeks pregnant at the time and this session was the first time I dealt with morning sickness. I don’t think Julie & Lacey were aware (at least I hope they weren’t) of what was happening with me, but I was thankful that we did a few outfit changes. To the bushes at Sugar Mill Gardens, I apologize.
Here are my favorite images from their day. Really, they are such a sweet and wonderful couple. I wish you guys the best!

I would like to say that I am not normally a fan of sun flare and I think it can look cheesy at times. However, I love the way the above photo turned out. : )

Sara & Kyle’s wedding was in November 2008. You have probably seen their wedding & engagement photos around on my site. Two of my favorite wedding shots are from their wedding:

We did their engagement session in July 2007 (man that seems like a long time ago!). Let me tell you, these two are troopers! I think we picked the hottest day in July to do their shoot. Our last location was at UCF, and getting in that cool reflecting pool was such a treat:

Okay, so on with the reason of this post. Sara & Kyle celebrated their one year anniversary with a Day After/Trash the Dress shoot. This couple is pretty much up for anything & is such a joy to photograph. I had a new location where I wanted to photograph & of course Sara & Kyle were up for the challenge. You will see the new location below which is the one with the columns. I love how they came out & will definitely be returning! We had attempted to go to Sugar Mill Gardens to start off our day. However, once we arrived there, we found out there was actually a wedding going on! Sara had to change into her dress before we began shooting, so she had to change there. While Sara was sitting on a bench, a garden worker came up to her & was so happy that they found the bride! Sara replied that she was not the bride & then we got dirty looks & a couple of unkind words. Sheesh, we were leaving!
Enough with my commentary, here are some of my favorites from the day.

In case you can’t tell from the above pictures, I absolutely love the back of Sara’s dress. It is stunning!

I would like to add that the sky in the above photo is 100% in camera with no Photoshopping. Florida sunsets are just amazing!
